Stephane Normandeau

Coach Stephane is a native of Quebec, Canada, and has over 30 years of experience as a player and coach at all levels of hockey, including playing Junior A Hockey in Canada as well as at the collegiate level. While coaching youth hockey, Stephane has coached several teams to compete at the Peewee Quebec International Tournament, the SE District Championship and the National Championship Tournament. He was also an assistant coach for the University of Georgia during its 2013-2014 season. Stephane is Level 4 USA Hockey Certified coach.

Mike Kotas

Center Ice Arena Coach in Chief


Coach Mike is originally from Buffalo, NY, and has won state championships with both his youth AAA team (Amherst Knights) and HS (St. Joe’s). He has coached youth hockey for 18 years in Seattle and Atlanta, Squirt through Midget age groups, at the AA and AAA levels. Mike’s resume includes a Level 4 USA Hockey Certification, 2 trips to Nationals (1 as a player and 1 as coach), and 2 trips as a coach to the PeeWee Quebec International Tournament. Mike believes in up-tempo disciplined practices with an emphasis on innovation and creativity.  A graduate of Clarkson University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mike is married and resides in Smyrna, GA, with his twin 5-year old boys.
